The camera fades in as Meltdown's opening sequence concludes, to see Lino walking down a hallway, toward a man. Specifically, a scrawny-looking man. Hearing a noise behind him, the man turns around to face Lino. "What do you want?" He demands.
Lino feigns a look of shock. "Now, is that any way to greet the man that called you here?" Lino asks with a grin, as Catastrophe snorts in irritation. "Heh. Alright, down to business, I saw that you were scheduled for the Last Chance match, tonight. But you never even had a qualifier... And that's just not fair, now, is it?"
Catastrophe crosses his arms. "What of it?"
"It also isn't fair that you've been cheated out of a chance to capture the Hardcore Championship so often, so I propose a trade... Lino states, as Catastrophe cocks an eyebrow, intrigued.
"Go on."
"If you allow me to take your place in the match tonight, and take my match in a few minutes, then I can promise you what you want... A shot at the AWF Hardcore Championship!" Lino makes a grand gesture with his right hand.
"Oh, you can, can you...?" Catastrophe asks, grinning, while Lino nods in response and the camera fades in to the arena.
Warren vs Catastrophe
At the start of this one, Catastrophe was just killing Warren. Warren didn’t get a move in till about 2 minutes in, but Catastrophe just came back with a better move or countered. But after being beaten around for a while, Warren upped his game and started to get some stronger moves out. So this became pretty even after that. This might have been over faster if they didn’t brawl at ringside every 2 minutes. Once they stayed in the ring long enough, it was a counter hit move repeat, with possibly a get out of the ring every so often. Warren even took a Cyclone 2 mid match, but still kicked out! Finish sees Warren with a huge comeback and nails a TKO for the win.
WINNER: Warren Peace
Norton Brothers vs Boyz Malicious Tag Team Championship
Match starts with Spike and JC. These two went at it, hitting moves then getting hit by one. Then JC tagged in Mikey with a double team move, putting Spike in big trouble. Not really, he low blowed Mikey when he tried to pick him up. Then they started brawling, same as JC did. Hitting and getting hit. Reversing UC moves. When Spike tagged Red, Mikey immediately ran to tag in JC. Red was killing, but he wanted his brother to have some fun I guess, cause he tagged Spike in. But Spike was quick to get Red back in and double teamed JC with a kick to the gut. Right after that, Red tosses JC out, and we have all four men taking each other out at ringside. Red almost didn’t make it back into the ring thanks to Mikey. But at the count of8, Spike threw the ref into JC, stopping the count. Then Spike started to smash Mikey’s face into the steel steps, during which Red tossed JC out again, then back in. So once they are all back in the ring, Red and JC continue to fight it out. JC is hurting, but he continues to try and take down the big man. Didn’t work so well, so he tags in Mikey, thinking he’ll do a better job. He does, but not better then Red, more like even. Now Red is hurting from taking on both of the Boyz. Finish sees Mikey nail a double-legged gutbuster, go on a Rampage, and chooses to pin Red instead for the 3.
WINNERS and STILL Tag Team Champions: The Boyz Malicious
Chaser vs CK Malicious Harcore title (Ladder match)
At the start, these two were each holding his own. Counters were constant, Chaser using his fast, high flying moves while CK was trying to ground him and pound him. This went on for quiet a while. Funny moment was when Chaser took a dive to the outside, but at the same time CK was getting in the ring. So Chaser hits nothing and CK taunts right after Chaser hit the floor. Brawling continued, with many face slaps on apron every so often. The ladder didn’t come in for a while, but once it did, both kept fighting over it till one had it and knocked the other out. After a few of those, Chaser is hurting. But he climbs the ladder that CK had set up and climbed himself, knocked him off, and got the meter down a good amount before CK did the same to Chaser. By this time, there wasn’t much left for CK to work down on. Chaser was climbing back up just as CK took the belt down.
WINNER and STILL Hardcore Champion: CK Malicious
LowKo vs Freaky vs Brandon Dubanie
LowKo was the standout for this match. I think he was the one who inflicted the most damage out of the three. Didn’t stop the other two from beating him down, then each other later on. Too much happening for me to call, but you get the point from the earlier statements. Finish sees Brandon use a Possum Pin on LowKo while Freaky was knocked out.
WINNER: Brandon Dubanie
