CAGE v. Warren Peace
What is it with Cage and his matches always end up being some kind of brawl? Anyway, this was a damn good match, with both guys, like I already said, brawling for the majority of the match. Cage was able to kick out at 2 after taking Warren's Shining Wizard finisher and was able to make a comeback and hit the Samoan Spike finisher of his to gain the victory.
WINNER: Cage
World Title Tournament - Brandon Malicious v. Jackel
I really do have to hand it to Brandon. Despite Jackel being much bigger then he was, he never backed down. But beyond multiple brief amounts of offense, Jackel pretty much dissected Brandon. One Hydroplane after taking much damage, Jackel advanced to the finals.
WINNER: Jackel
NON-TITLE: Carnivore v. Dante Malicious
As a preview to their upcoming title match, these two butt heads for the first time. It was a very nice back and forth match, that had Carnivore kicking out of a Dante's Inferno. Sadly, another one was too much for Carnivore.
WINNER: Dante Malicious
Oriental Express v. Genesis Mirage
Nice back and forth match, with both teams hitting their tag team finishers. When the Express hit their Stungun & Neckbreaker the second time on Matt, Erik just refused to leave the ring after breaking up the pin, and the ref counted to 5 for the DQ victory. Weird, I was hoping 09 would lead away from the BS finishes like this.
WINNERS: Oriental Express
Elimination Tag: Boyz Malicious v. Jaysun Legend & Alex Craine
Now this match was full of surprises. First, Legend and Craine work well together. Second, Alex alomst had the shocker of the night when he almost eliminated JC after both a ECW Frog Splash and a Super Kick, but JC kicked out of the Frog Splash barely and Mikey got in for the save after the Kick. JC then was able to make the hot tag and Mikey eliminated Alex after a Final Rest. Legend followed not soon afterward after taking a Final Rest of his own.
WINNERS: Boyz Malicious
World Title Tournament - Brandon Mac v. Yugo Ryan
This match was great. Yugo came out just pummeling Brandon, but he just came back with his own series of strikes. The control kept changing, but when it was Yugo who was in control, he held on to the control longer and inflicted more damage. Brandon was limping when he started to make a come back, but it was too little, too late. Yugo ducked a grapple by Brandon and hit the Osaka Street Cutter for the win.
WINNER: Yugo Ryan
NON-TITLE: Scott Manor v. CK Malicious
Now this was a exciting match up. CK gave Manor a good run for his money, even kicking out of the People's Elbow. But after taking a Shattered Dreams, for those of you that don't know what that is it's where Manor took CK's legs and put them on the ropes, spreading them out and delivering a big kick right to the nads. Needless to say, CK didn't get up from that.
WINNER: Scott Manor
The Apokalypse vs The X (Lino and Freaky)
Great tag team match, with the constant tags, the teamwork, the double teams, the hot tags, the breaking of pinfalls and the kick outs when you least expect them. Match of the night in my book. Everyone took a lot of punishment in this match, with Klown taking the most, receiving Freaky's Straitjacket, Punt Kick, and the clothesline signature. The end of this great match had Lino hit Jester with the 99 Crusher, only for Jester to kick out at 2, and Lino continued to hammer Jester till he was able to hit the Unprettier and pinned for the 3.
WINNERS: The X (Lino and Freaky)
Main Event - NON-TITLE: Osiris v. Trip Acid (debut)
Well, Acid had quite the debut. He was able to hang with the World Champion, even hitting Osiris with the Acid Trip. But after that, it was like a switch went off in Osiris and he mounted a comeback, eventually hitting Eternal Damnation, and that was it for Trip.
WINNER: Osiris
