The opening image is that of the Silver Age Kings' locker room, where Riley Taylor is seated on the bench, his half of the Silver Age Championship resting in his lap. Justin McIntyre sits across the room, pulling his gloves on, while Rod Friedman applies his tape to his fingers, and Kim Bailleaux leans against the doorway, already prepared for her match. "You know, I'd certainly like to know how it is we ended up defending the belts against CK One and Bryan Krash." Justin states, moving his fingers to get his hand comfortable.
"I think it's because they defeated the Genesis Mirage, last time." Riley answers, looking down at the belt, neither his arm pads nor wrist tape applied.
"Really? Michael didn't promote it as a number-one contenders' match, did he?" Justin asks, looking over to Riley.
"No, he didn't. But then, I suppose the win was just that impressive to him." Riley states. Justin looks over to Rod as he chimes in.
"It was a count-out!" Rod sighs, shrugging. "And a split-second away from a double, at that!"
"Even so, a win is a win, especially if it lands you a title shot." Riley responds. Justin heaves a sigh and speaks up again.
"But still. I mean, wasn't Bryan tagging with Mumbo Man? How'd he end up teaming with CK? Especially in a title match?!" Justin demands.
"Because chances are, there's something being kept from us." Riley states. Without a word, Kim turns and makes her exit, heading toward the arena for her own title match.
Match 1: MWL Women's World Championship - (C) Sarah Alyssa v. Kimberly Bailleaux
- Sarah Alyssa forced Kimberly Bailleaux to submit to an abdominal stretch at 14:04 to retain the MWL Women's World Championship.
Match 2: Rod Friedman v. Nathan Rozman
- Nathan Rozman forced Rod Friedman to submit to a bow and arrow hold at 12:14.
The image fades from the underdog, Nathan Rozman, standing victorious to that of Danny Tieso standing with the MWL World Hardcore Champion, Norihito Takahashi, and his tag team partner, Vince Marshall. Norihito stands in the background, skipping around in a fashion similar to a young girl, the MWL World Hardcore Championship belt around his waist. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Danny Tieso here with the man set to face Mumbo Man later tonight, Vince Marshall! Vince, the last time you had a singles match, you made a prediction, one which came, literally, within a second of being incorrect. Tonight, you have your second singles match. Any prediction?" Vince simply shakes his head and makes his exit, as Norihito approaches, a stupid grin on his face.
"GE~EZ! Whadjya say to him?! Even I~I get AT LEAST a sigh out of him before he walks off!" Norihito giggles, sounding like a lunatic.
Match 3: Melissa Rez (w/ Kitten Miller) v. the Scourge
- The Scourge forced Melissa Rez to submit to an abdominal stretch at 10:18.
Match 4: Mumbo Man v. Vince Marshall
- Mumbo Man pinned Vince Marshall after a series of punches at 14:50.
The image fades in to the Genesis Mirage's locker room, where Erik is hammering away at a punching bag, while Matt is laying down on the bench, watching a monitor, sipping at bottles of coffee, pitching them over his shoulder. With each throw, a shattering is heard, which neither of them respond to. "So I'm not the only one that sees something wrong with the main event tonight, am I?" Matt asks, looking in Erik's direction.
"No, you are not." Erik responds, continuing to beat the punching bag to a pulp.
"Oh, good, so I'm not crazy after all." Matt states, matter-of-factly, looking back to the monitor. Erik ceases killing the punching bag for a moment before looking back toward Matt.
"You know, we were screwed. If it had been an official number-one contenders' match..." Erik begins.
"...But it wasn't." Matt answers.
Erik cracks a grin in response, striking the punching bag one final time. "We've got to send a message, Matt..."
Main Event: MWL Silver Age Championship - Ladder: (C) Silver Age Kings v. CK One & Bryan Krash
- Justin McIntyre climbed the ladder and retrieved the belts at 6:59 to retain the MWL Silver Age Championship.
As the Silver Age Kings celebrate their successful defense, and CK One and Bryan Krash make their way back up the entrance, Erik Range and Matthew Froscheiser leap over the guardrail and storm the ring, promptly levelling Riley and Justin. Erik pulls Riley to his feet while Matt lifts Justin, each of them preparing something next to the fallen ladders. Erik bends Riley over and sets up the Game Over, Man! over one ladder, while Matt prepares Justin for a Fire Up! just in front of the other ladder. They give each other a nod, before hitting their moves on their respective targets, standing over them as the show fades to a close.
