"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Stevan Corber here, outside the office of Michael Jamborgh. On Sunday at MWL Conquest, following the 30-Minute Iron Man match between Lino and Catastrophe, Lino was viciously assaulted with several chairshots to the skull. We've gotten word that Lino is currently suffering a concussion, and will be out of action for an indefinite amount of time." As Stevan finishes this, Yugo Ryan storms past and opens Michael's door, stepping in.
"Michael! What the hell was that on Sunday?!" Yugo demands. "You aren't going to just let Catastrophe get away with that, are you?!"
"As it just so happens, I already had something in mind, Yugo." Michael looks up, cracking a grin. "In fact, allow me to enlighten you. Tonight, you and Catastrophe will do battle. The winner will be awarded a shot at the MWL World Heavyweight Championship at Fallen Rites. The loser? Well...doesn't. Obviously. Now, go. You guys get to beat each other to a pulp in just a little bit." Michael gestures for Yugo to make his exit.
Match 1: Asian Persuasion v. Norton Brothers
- Red Norton pinned Tiananman after a Barbecuebomb at 8:49.
Match 2: MWL World Heavyweight Contendership - Yugo Ryan v. Catastrophe
- Yugo Ryan pinned Catastrophe after a belly-to-back suplex at 9:27 to compete for the MWL World Heavyweight Championship.
As the closing bell rings, Yugo climbs out of the ring and grabs a steel chair, sliding it into the ring and climbing back in. He lifts the chair overhead and swings it downward, narrowly missing as Catastrophe flees the ring and backs up the ramp, looking on at the furious man still standing in the ring.
Match 3: Anthony Jacobs & Viper v. the Brotherhood (David Hitz & Scott Froelich)
- Scott Froelich pinned Anthony Jacobs with a roll-up at 21:35.
Match 4: Maverick Miller v. Christopher Martel (w/ Kairez)
- Christopher Martel pinned Maverick Miller after the Shining Hawk at 13:45.
The arena lights die out as Kairez and Christopher Martel celebrate the win, and a moment later, the eerie red light clicks on in the ring, just in time to see Allan Martel slide in. The red light clicks off, and when the arena lights return, Kairez and Christopher have gone, leaving Allan unconscious on the mat.
Main Event: MWL North American Championship - (C) Nicholas Hunter v. Magnum
- Nicholas Hunter pinned Magnum with a rolling cradle at 15:01 to retain the MWL North American Championship.
As Nicholas Hunter celebrates a successful title defense, the image fades to show Michael's office once again, where Michael is seated behind his desk, Shane Warner and Sarah Alyssa seated off to the side, and Yugo Ryan near the doorway. The door opens and in steps Gregory Mandrake. Yugo heaves a sigh, shooting him a glare. "Oh, goody. You again."
"Never you worry, gentlemen, and lady." Mandrake hisses, cracking a smirk. "In light of the havoc I witnessed at Ignition some time ago, I've come to make you another offer..."
