As the opening video concludes, the image fades to a backstage hallway, where Yugo Ryan and several members of the backstage crew are rushing to a tangled mess, the result of an attack on the MWL North American Champion, Lino. "Lino, you okay?" Yugo demands, as the production crew pull him to his feet and provide support. "What happened?!"
"I don't know, somebody blindsided me." Lino states with a wince.
"You're not going to still defend your title, are you?" Yugo asks. Lino nods in reply as he makes his exit, aided by the crew. "Augh. Damn it. I think I've got a pretty good idea who it was..."
Match 1: Byakko v. Alex DuVry
- Alex DuVry pinned Byakko with a roll-up at 12:07.
Match 2: Kouryuu v. Kairez
- Kairez pinned Kouryuu after a full-nelson suplex at 16:15.
Match 3: Scott Froelich (w/ David Hitz) v. Spike Norton
- Spike Norton pinned Scott Froelich with a roll-up at 10:27.
The arena light dies as the eerie music accompanying the Brotherhood plays. The video wall fades to show the image of Kairez, standing in a dimly lit room. "Hmmhmm, Red Team Fortress, can you hear me? Well, in all truth, this message is mainly for Allan Martel, but I don't mind if you all hear this. It just makes it that much more entertaining for me!" Kairez pauses and smirks, chuckling for a moment. "Now then, on to my point. Allan Martel, you failed to defeat me at Onslaught and now, I have a surprise for you." Kairez takes a step to the side, revealing a smaller figure, whose face is adorned with paint. The figure looks up and dons an eerie smile as Kairez continues.
"That's right, Allan. I've broken young Christopher. It was difficult and took some time, but the boy you see here isn't the same anymore. He works for us, now. You may have managed to release Spike, but this is a whole new game, Allan." Kairez states as the image fades out.
Match 4: Anthony Jacobs & Viper v. Asian Persuasion
- Kentan pinned Anthony Jacobs after a Tsugaru-jamisen at 6:57.
The camera pans over to show Allan Martel, standing alone at the end of a hallway, his head hanging. He heaves a sigh and turns to walk away, when a small figure rushes out of the hallway behind him and strikes his head with a steel chair, knocking him to the floor. The figure laughs, looking toward the camera, before making his exit down the hallway Allan was about to leave through.
Main Event: MWL North American Championship - (C) Lino v. Nicholas Hunter
- Nicholas Hunter pinned Lino after the Third Degree at 7:48 to win the MWL North American Championship.
As Nicholas Hunter celebrates his win, holding the MWL North American Championship belt high overhead, the crowd erupts in a chorus of "boo"s as Catastrophe appears on the stage, slowly making his way down to the ring. Catastrophe climbs in and rushes Nicholas, throwing him from the ring. Catastrophe positions himself behind Lino as he begins to stir, waiting for him to stand. As Lino pushes himself to one knee, the crowd roars as Michael Jamborgh appears on the stage, microphone in hand. Catastrophe diverts his attention to the stage as Michael begins to speak.
"And I suppose it was you that jumped Lino earlier, huh?" Michael asks. Catastrophe raises his arms in response, a grin across his face. "Yeah, I thought so. That said, on Sunday, at MWL Conquest 2009, it will be you two, Lino and Catastrophe, going head-to-head in a thirty-minute Iron Man match! May the best man win." Michael states. Catastrophe grins again, as Michael continues.
"...And if you're going to try and ambush Lino before that match, or if you have anyone else do it for you, you'd better start looking for another job!" With that, Michael and Catastrophe stare toward each other as the show fades to a close.
