Match 1: MWL Dead Heat Tournament 2008 Semi-final - Red Norton v. Shane Warner
- Red Norton pinned Shane Warner after a blow to the spine at 12:16.
"Ugh. Either the drunk Australian or the next-to-mute Texas redneck..." Michael mutters, watching Red celebrate moving into the final. "Not exactly the best selection of temporary lead bookers, but...eh." Michael shrugs, pulling out a number of pamphlets he'd gotten from his travel agent. Ooh! Maybe Venice! Or maybe Hawaii!" Michael laughs as the camera fades back into the arena.
Match 2: CTHD v. Asian Persuasion
- Kouryuu pinned Tiananman after two consecutive powerbombs at 15:46.
"Alright! Awesome, awesome, awesome, Red!" Jim shouts, giving the big Texan a thumbs-up. "Beautiful, you got to the finals,which puts us in a good place, here. You beat Jarvick on Sunday, and we've got control for a week! That means we could get Red and Spike one-on-one, maybe even finish off the Brotherhood."
"About time." Nick groans. "I'm getting tired of this game of chess."
"Chess?!" AJ demands. "Seems more like a game of Team Fortress 2, to me."
"...Team Fortress 2?" Nick repeats.
"Yeah! We've got the Heavy..." AJ gestures to Red. "...The Soldier..." He gestures to Allan.
"Heh?" Allan grunts.
"...The Scout..." AJ continues, pointing at Chris. "...The Demoman..." He points to Nick. "...The Sniper..." He points at Jim, then points to himself. "...The Engineer, and then the Spy!"
"...'Spy'? Oh, you mean--?" Jim begins.
"Yeah." AJ nods.
"Not really a Spy, though, y'know. And how do you wind up with Engineer?" Chris demands.
"Not really a whole lot left on the list, by that point..." AJ mutters.
"Uh...whatever, I'm going to go do my match." Chris shakes his head before leaving the locker room.
"Oh! That's what we'll call ourselves! 'Red Team Fortress'!" AJ shouts while everyone else just groans.
Match 3: Christopher Martel v. Alex DuVry v. David Hitz
- Alex DuVry pinned David Hitz after a powerbomb to pin at 9:37.
Match 4: Nicholas Hunter v. Kairez
- Kairez pinned Nicholas Hunter after a Smoke & Mirrors at 7:15.
"NO-ho-ho-ho~!" Jim shouts after witnessing the second straight loss for the group. "Mm...crap. Red, we might be counting on you come Sunday..." Red looks at him for a moment before simply grunting in reply.
Main Event: MWL North American Championship - (C) B-4 v. Magnum
- B-4 pinned Magnum after a spear at 5:08 to retain the MWL North American Championship.
