The arena darkens once more. Flames erupt across the stage as Manowar's "Burning" blares from the speakers, and the Animus strides through the conflagration, unmolested by the flesh-searing heat. He pauses at the stage's edge, staring out at the crowd as they mock him.
"Last week," he begins, "I made an open challenge- a challenge that was met by Osiris. And last week, I was defeated! A new experience for the Animus."
The crowd continues to jeer the monster as he continues. "The quality of the competition here is truly unexpected, and one day, we will battle once more, with a more favorable outcome. But the powers that be have decided that this week, I will be rewarded with the opportunity to destroy one known as Mark Redja."
Fans cheer at the mention of Redja's name. "Yes, chant his name- enjoy it whilest you may. Come Collision, I will show the AWF why I am the most unstoppable beast to walk the planet! Redja, prepare yourself for an abject lesson in pain... and in crippled retirement."
Without another word, the Animus strides back through the flames and is gone.
