The Call (Renegade ment)

Renegade has just kicked back in his locker room with some of his favorite "medicine" and just as he's about to get comfortable, his cell phone rings. Groaning irritably, Renegade answers it.

"Talk fast."

"Mr. Renegade," A man's voice says. "Such a pleasure to finally have the chance to speak with you. I have heard many great things about you."

"Who is this? How'd you get this number?"

"I have multiple talents, Mr. Renegade, and finding your number was quiet a simple task. As for my identity, you may call me a Career Consultant."

"A Career Consultant?"

"Correct, Mr. Renegade. You see, changes will be occurring within AWF very soon, changes that will forever change the face of the company. And...there will be casualties. It would be, in the best interest in your career, to not fight this coming tide, but rather go with it."

"What are you talking about?"

"When I hang up, you will receive a text message. In that message will be a number. If you wish to learn more, call the number. I'm looking forward to hearing from you, Mr. Renegade."

The man hangs up.

Renegade looks at the phone tottally confused then looks over at his spliff suspiciously, he shrugs his shoulders and takes a big draw, allowing smoke to billow out of his mouth at the sides an expression of pure joy on his face.....

Then the phone vibrates next to him as a text message is recieved, he looks at it and doesnt recognise the number, the message simply reads "interested?" then gives a number to call.

Renegade stands and walks towards the mirror, looking at himself he pulls the hairband from his hair and allows the green dreads to fall around his face........

"Career consultant huh?"

He checks out his teeth looking not only for odd bits of burger but also checking out the cracks where so many have been rebuilt.....

"Screw this....."

Renegade picks up the phone and dials the number, the phone at the other end rings.....

[Spazz]

The phone picked up after just one ring.

"So nice you decided to return the call. I certainly hope we can count on your cooperation with our endeavor. In two weeks time, you will receive another message. This message will offer instructions on what we will need you to do. You have just made the greatest decision ever in your career, welcome to the family."

The phone hung up again.
