Singles Match: Scott Manor (Debut) vs D-Roc
That squash match to Crusher had to be a wake up call for D-Roc or something, cause he was really fighting in this one. But Scott had a lot of tricks up his sleeve, dirty tactics with the technical skills made him a hard to catch guy. I would call the strategy "Hit and run" but to a heavyweights advantage. Didn't stop Jenkins from trying. D-Roc did get him with a flurry of strikes. But grapples didn't do well for him. When it really got down to it, there was a lot of reversals. And that led to the finish, with Scott being busted open by D-Roc's constant strikes, and D-Roc hit his Shake and Leg Drop finisher to pick up the win.
WINNER: D-Roc
Tag Match: Juggernaut (Indian Joe & Future) (Debut) vs The Boyz Malicious (JC & Mikey)
First impressions of the new team. Future is huge and grey/silver, and Joe is FAT! Onto the match. The Boyz certainly brought it, trying to show these new guys how it was done. But Juggernaut already knew how it seems, cause they were doing just as well as the Boyz were. This match broke down in quite a hurry, as the legal men were constantly getting out of the ring, and tagging every so often and going back out again. Which you knew was going to lead to a countout victory, which went to the Juggernaut team, with Future in the ring and Joe kept Mikey out for the 10 count.
WINNERS: Juggernaut
Singles Qualifier match for HIAC at Heatstroke: Osiris vs CRUSHER
This match was all about power. Both claim to be a dominate force in AWF, so all that was left was to prove it to each other. Crusher really gave Osiris a run for his money, but Osiris was able to pull through it and hit a Tombstone for the hard fought win.
WINNER: Osiris
Tag Match: Impact Players vs Norton Brothers
Both teams are coming off of some impressive victories, and now they collide. This one went to hell really quick, as the majority of the match was at ringside. Not to mention all the times that the ref was thrown at someone courtesy of Spike, delaying the countout. So we have yet another countout victory, with Nick keeping a bloodied Spike outside the ring while Sean got into the ring for the 10 count.
WINNERS: Impact Players
Singles Match US title qualifier match: Deathblade vs LowKo
Both masked men knew what was at steak for them. A shot at the US title. And they brought it. Deathblade did not dominate this time, as he usually does, simply because his opponent was really good. LowKo was all over DB, and DB was definitely pulling out the stops here. They were just beating the crap out of each other. The next powerful move would be the deciding factor, and that move was the GTS by LowKo, who was quick to cover and get the 3 count.
WINNER: LowKo
Singles Qualifier match for HIAC at Heatstroke: Warren Peace vs Red Norton
“Electric Rodeo” fades as Red stands in the ring, ready for his match against Warren Peace. Instead of Warren Peace appearing, though, John Crescent appears on the stage with a piece of paper in his hands.
John clears his throat, “My apologies for intruding on this match but I have an important announcement regarding it.” John looked at the paper. “Warren Peace was just in my office and he handed me this paper. It reads, ‘Due to personal matters, I, Warren Peace, must announce my resignation from Atlantic Wrestling Federation.’ Because of this turn of events, the winner of this match by default is Red Norton.”
Red had a more confused than victorious expression but he soon realized he’d just been declared the winner and raised his arms to the delight of the Texan’s fans.
Hardcore Non-title: Chaser vs Reaper Killer
This match was pretty even. When the weapons came into play, it became even harder to tell who would win, mostly due to them taking the weapon from the other guy sometimes and then gets hit the rest of them. Finish sees Reaper Killer nail Chaser with a running DDT, busting him open, followed by a pin for the 3 count.
WINNER: Reaper Killer
Singles Match: Devin Sain (w/ Darius) vs Scott Froelich (w/ Evan)
One on one, both of these guys are actually pretty good. Early on, Scott was able to hit his Super Neckbreaker finisher, but for a 0 count. That served as a wake up call for Devin, who proceeded to kick Scott's ass. But that is where the dirty tactics came into play, and it became pretty even. But after a Super Low Blow that got a 2 count, and a little later another Super Neckbreaker Pin, it was over.
WINNER: Scott Froelich
Singles Qualifier match for HIAC at Heatstroke: Mark Rejda vs Catastrophe
This match was hard hitting, with Catastrophe being on the receiving end for the most part. Even the dirty tactics didn't faze Mark, as he ran right through Catastrophe, busting him open with a running DDT and countering a Samoan Drop UC into a DDT, Rampaged, and covered for the win.
WINNER: Mark Rejda
Singles Qualifier match for HIAC at Heatstroke: Brandon Mac vs Brandon Malicious
I think the winner is going to be Brandon and the loser will be Brandon. Joking aside, the newest member of the Malicious family is more aggressive then his former self. But Mac took that fight head on, and we had quite the fight. By the end, both were limping and sometimes exhausted. Malicious caught Mac in a Possum Pin, but only got a 2 count. Not long after, he then hit a Shotting Star Splash, but again, only a 2 count. Mac busts Malicious open with some ground and pound. Spinning Heel Kick by Malicious, cover, another 2. Mac with a Cool Shot, cover, 1, 2, 3!
WINNER: Brandon Mac
