Warren Peace, Jaysun Legend, & CRUSHER v. Reaper Killer, Brandon Mac, & D-Roc
Now here is a match with variety of styles. This one started off with Reaper Killer and Warren starting off pretty even, countering and what not. Brandon really wanted to get in the ring, because every time Warren was close to that corner, Brandon would reach out and hit him. Legend gets tagged in with a Leap Frog Attack double team. Soon after, Warren is tagged back in.After a little beatdown by Warren, Legend is tagged back in. Legend seems to have not liked what Brandon did earlier, because he goes over and dropkicks him off the apron, then follows that with a Springboard Shooting Star Press, but Brandon swats him away. Following that was a little six man brawl. After both green legal men get back in the ring, Reaper is hurting, and Warren is tagged back in. Reaper wanted a breather, so he gets out of the ring, Warren tries to dive after him with a Double Axe Handle, only to get a boot in the gut, and we have another six man brawl. Once in the ring, Warren and Crusher try to double team Reaper Killer, but only get countered,Reaper hitting the Double clothesline. Brandon is finally tagged in, and he holds his own against Warren. But after a long chain of counters that Warren wins, Brandon tags Reaper Killer back in. Another Leap Frog Attack double team brings Legend back in, but then Warren is back in after a Poetry in Motion double team, then another Leap Frog Attack to bring Legend back in. Legend pinned but only got a two thanks to Reaper's partners breaking it up. Warren is tagged back in. Reaper Killer gets out, followed by Warren, another six man brawl. Once back in, Reaper Killer is hurting, and apparently seeing things, cause he running DDTs the ref, missing Warren. Brandon is tagged in with a Leg Drop/Backbreaker double team. Brandon is thrown into the opposing corner, and Crusher is tagged in for the first time with a double suplex/cross body triple team. Reaper Killer is tagged in again. Crusher just tosses him up and lets him Free Fall, then covers for the win.
WINNERS: Warren Peace, Jaysun Legend, & CRUSHER
Grand Prix Preview: Anthony Jacobs & Kairez v. Impact Players
Being that this is the first time that I have used either team, I have to say that both teams worked well together. And at this point and time, I will say that MWL does have a strong team going into the Grand Prix. But that didn't stop the Impact Players one bit. Had Sean flying around like a crazy man, then you had Nick grounding the guy, while the MWL team just wanted to beat them down. Very interesting combinations going head to head. Midway through the match sees Kairez busted open when Nick gave him a Flapjack. The end of the match had a ringside brawl, where Sean kept Kairez busy with beating his head into the ring steps while Nick gets in the ring for the countout victory.
WINNERS: Impact Players
Carmen Malicious v. Karma v. Melissa Rez
I'll say this, Carmen is good. Also, I feel sorry for the ref, because he was always being thrown at people by Melissa, and somethings gets landed on by a flying move, keeping him down some more. This was even, mostly because the third girl would break up one of the others attempts to win, but no one really stood out as the dominate force. The final moments of this match had Carmen knocked out (by what I missed) and Karma knocking Melissa out with a clothesline, and then covering Carmen for the win.
Coldheart Invitational: Mark Rejda v. LowKo
Starts with Mark being in control of the first few seconds of the match, then LowKo dropkicked his knee, and it went downhill from there. Mark was able to make a comeback, but it was in vain. I'll spare the details, and say that this ended with LowKo hitting the GTS for the win.
WINNER: LowKo
Osiris & Deathblade v. Norton Brothers
Um, yeah, this was pretty bad for the Nortons. Spike was murdered, and Red couldn't hold them off by himself. Red was beaten and bloodied so bad, hew couldn't answer the 10 count outside of the ring.
WINNERS: Osiris and Deathblade
Coldheart Invitational: Brandon Dubaine v. JC Malicious
Lot's of high flying, as expected from these two. Other then that, this was pretty even. It was very hard to tell who was going to win this one. At first. As it went on, JC uped his game, and Brandon became his bitch. This one ended with get Brandon with a Possum Pin for the 3.
WINNER: JC Malicious
Dark Souls v. Lunatic Fringe
This is a repeat of all the other times these teams have faced off. The Fringe tried to be quick and have as many moves in a row without getting get caught, but the Souls only killed them every time they got they're hands on them. Other then that, nothing much to note. The end saw Scott hitting the Super Low Blow for the 3 count on Darius!! This has got to be a upset.
WINNERS: Lunatic Fringe
Catastrophe v. Mikey Malicious
Actually, this was pretty even. Catastrophe was really holding his own against Mikey. Not to mention that the dirty tactics helped. But Mikey is a veteran, he was able to fight it. This time, it really was hard to tell who would win. The finish sees Mikey hitting the FU for the win.
WINNER: Mikey Malicious
Main Event: Yugo Ryan, Freaky, & Lino v. CK Malicious, Renegade, & Chaser
Started off with Yugo and CK trading moves and countering a lot. But once Renegade was tagged in, things started to go into CK's team's favor. Once Renegade was tagged in, the first thing he did was toss him into his corner and tags Chaser in with a Extreme Leg Drop double team. That had Yugo tag Freaky in, and Freaky wasn't doing too good. So then Yugo is tagged back in, as is CK. From there, it becomes a very long six man brawl, and the count was ignored when the ref was knocked out, making it longer. Once everyone was back in place, CK and Yugo returned to the countering and hitting moves occasionally. After Yugo got busted open after some ground and pound, he tags Freaky in while CK tags in Renegade. After some trading punches, Freaky gets out of the ring and CK is tagged back in. Freaky gets back in, only to get some ground and pound. So Freaky tags Lino in. The US Champ was doing alright, but CK was still doing great, which does not explain why Renegade was tagged in. Renegade did not do well against Lino at all. Yugo is tagged back in, Renegade leaves the ring, Yugo follows, and we have another six man brawl. During which, Chaser hits a rolling thunder on Yugo, and Renegade goes for the pin, but it gets broken up by Lino and Freaky. After missing on a elbow drop, Yugo tags Freaky in. And Yugo is tagged back not long after. CK is tagged in. Yugo and CK leave the ring, another six man brawl. After a very long brawl, Renegade is tagged back in, Yugo leaves, and we have another brawl. Both men are still outside at the 9 count, and Renegade gets into the ring JUST as the ref counted 10.
