- Craig McDaniels pinned Chad Vritska after the Above Averageplex at 6:25.
The shot cuts from the arena and the celebration of Craig McDaniels over the unconscious Chad Vritska, to a dimly lit room backstage, nearly pitch black. A low chuckling rings out amid the shadows as an obscured figure raises its head. "I tried a new method, and it didn't work, heheh..." A single hand then raises form the shadows and clenches into a fist.
"I lost that match... There are no more games..." A single low snort escapes the figure as the shot fades back out to the arena.

As Riley raises his hand in victory, the crowd erupts into a chorus of boos. Riley whips around, only to see the members of the X, save for Chance Louthan and Travis Taylor, stroll down to ringside. After occasional arguments with fans sitting immediately behind the guardrail, the members of the X climb into the ring as Riley backs toward one corner, watching them carefully. Yugo raises the microphone in his hand to his lips and extends one hand to calm Riley. "Don't worry, Riley, we're not here to pick a fight, okay? Dead Heat has come and gone, Michael's draft is over and done with, and we're stronger than ever." Yugo pauses as a deafening roar of disapproval rings out from the crowd. Yugo waits for the noise to subside before continuing.
"But! What would the most dominant force ever to grace MWL with its presence be, without the most dominant force, fresh from Ignition's roster? Riley, we come bearing a gift for you!" Yugo nods as Riley cocks an eyebrow. "Maverick?"
With that, Maverick Miller steps forward and hands to Riley a shirt with the X's insignia upon the chest. Riley holds it up as Maverick steps back and Yugo continues. "Riley, we are offering you the chance of a lifetime! The chance to join the ranks of the X!" Riley lowers the shirt and looks around to the crowd, searching for an answer. "We know you'll make the right call." After a few moments, Riley raises his arms and lowers his head as he dons the shirt. He climbs onto the top turnbuckle looking out to the crowd as the crowd shows their disapproval. The members of the X present, however, applaud his actions.
And then, Riley leaps from the turnbuckle, to an eruption of cheers, catching Lino in the back with a dropkick. Lino tumbles into Kairez and the two falls from the ring. With the two hard-hitters of the group already removed, Riley dares the remaining members to attack. Chad charges in, only to be thrown to ringside. Riley back into the corner as Catastrophe steps forward. Catastrophe charges toward Riley and jumps into the air, twisting around for his Ride the Wave. Riley ducks down and rolls to the side, grinning as Catastrophe slams into the ringpost. Riley stands and delivers a sharp kick to the back, knocking Catastrophe to ringside.
Alex DuVry grabs Riley from behind with a full nelson and turns him around to face Maverick Miller, who only grins as he pats his thigh. Maverick steps forward, and raises his leg for the Maverick Kick. Maverick looks on in horror as Riley breaks free and sidesteps, the kick connecting with the World Heavyweight Champion's skull. Alex falls to the mat as Maverick raises his hands to his head. Without a moment's hesitation, Riley grabs Maverick and hits the Taylornado, before standing and moving toward Yugo. Yugo backs away, extending both hands. Riley charges forward, taking a swing at Yugo as he slides under the bottom rope and backs up the entrance ramp, the rest of the group joining him. Riley tears the shirt off of his chest and throws it at the X, shouting something unheard by the camera as the crowd's roar grows ever louder.
