The shot cuts in to show Michael Jamborgh seated in his office, facing the camera, his fingers laced before him. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome one and all to one of my favorite MWL events of the year, Dead Heat. Tonight, not only will we find out the winner of this year's supersized 32-man Dead Heat Tournament, but after the event, on Underground, five competitors will be traded between Redline and Ignition. Now, this leads me to the prize for this year's tournament winner. Or, rather, prizes. Not only will the winner get bragging rights, but they will also receive a guaranteed championship bout opportunity of their choosing any time between tonight and Stage of Legends 2011.
"But there's more for our winner. The winner will have the opportunity to have immunity from the trades set to take place, or they can jump to Ignition. It's their decision. And now, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I give you Dead Heat 2010!"

- Lino pinned David Hitz after the fallaway slam at 7:35 to retain the MWL-CAW Championship and win the Dead Heat 2010 Tournament.
As Lino makes his way up the entrance ramp, title belt in hand, he high-fives the entering Alex DuVry, who climbs into the ring just as Lino disappears behind the curtain. Alex grabs a microphone from the ring hand before stomping around the ring impatiently. "Alright, Michael! You said you'd 'take care of me' tonight! Well, he we are! Main event time and still no opponent! Just like I thought Mike, you can't touch me!" With that, the arena lights dim down, and the video wall clicks to life. Alex looks on in confusion as the unconscious forms of Catastrophe, Noizy Tribe, Kairez, Yugo, and Chad Vritska blink on one by one, concluding with a shot of Lino, his head rested upon the MWL-CAW Championship, out cold. Alex slowly unbuckles the MWL World Heavyweight Championship belt and clutches it as the video wall clicks off, and the arena lights return to life. The crowd explodes as a worried look crosses Alex's face. Alex whips around, swinging his title belt at whoever is behind him. With a thud, the massive frame of Osiris flinches before laughing.
Alex drops the title belt and backs into the corner, taking a nervous swallow as Osiris cracks his knuckles and steps closer...

- Alex DuVry pinned Osiris after a stomp to the head at 3:52 to retain the MWL World Heavyweight Championship.
As the closing bell rings, Alex DuVry snatches up his title belt and pulls back into the corner again, looking on as Osiris rises to his feet. The crowd erupts again as none other than Maverick Miller rushes down to the ring, standing beside Osiris. Osiris gives a smirk before thrusting one hand out and grasping Alex by the throat. He pulls him in for a chokeslam and begins to lift.
And it is then that Maverick steps in and delivers a hard kick to Osiris' skull. Osiris falls to the mat, holding his temple in pain as Alex backs out of the ring. Maverick quickly joins him and raises his hand, while a deafening chorus of boos fills the arena at the show's close.
