As the opening bell rings, Yugo and Alex circle the ring for a few moments, occasionally reaching out for a tie-up before backing away. After a few seconds, Alex turns and climbs out of the ring. The referee looks on in confusion as Alex grabs his title belt and walks back up the entrance ramp, disappearing behind the curtain. Yugo grabs the referee by the collar and commands him to count. The referee reluctantly backs away after Yugo shoves him and raises his hands for the count.
"Ref, hold it right there!" The voice of Michael Jamborgh shouts. The crowd explodes as Michael steps out onto the stage, microphone in hand. "Huh-uh. We are NOT doing this. We are not having not only a heavyweight title match, but also a tournament match end in a countout forfeit." Michael looks into the camera and smirks. "Alex, I'll deal with you Sunday at Dead Heat. But as for you, Yugo." Michael states, turning back toward the leader of the X, now leaning in the corner, an arrogant smirk on his face. "You WILL earn your spot in the semi-finals. Assuming you win, anyway. Now, I'm sure your opponent has a score to settle with your group, so come on out!" Michael announces, as he turns and gestures toward the entryway, as the lights turn to a reddish hue...
