Good to be back (Lino ment)

"Click Click Boom" by Saliva rips through the arena and Brandon Dubaine appears and makes his way to the ring amongst the cheers and screams of the crowd. Brandon slid into the ring and just stood in the center, reveling in the positive reaction from the crowds.

Brandon: Alright, you people having a good time tonight!?

He held the microphone toward the crowd so they could cheer into it.

Alright, that's what I like to hear. Boy folks I gotta tell you, it feels so good to be back in the AWF ring. Then again the last time I was here, AWF was not a mainstream attraction. It was an underground, down in the dirt, backyard wrestling federation. It's all thanks to our current Chairman, John Crescent for getting AWF the position it deserves. Give John a scream ya'll!!

He held the microphone out again and the crowd cheered aqain and chants of "Johnny C" began.

Another great thing about this new AWF is seeing that we got a lot of new faces in the back. One of those new faces I want to address now is a guy named Lino. Good job winning that United States Title. But you know what, I really don't care about all the honorifics that you're getting for it. Trust me, you're not the first United States Champion. I am!! I crawled through the dirt and the muck back in the day to win that title, and I can promsie you that before this year is over, I will hold that title again.

He looked around and listened to the reactions of the crowd.

And that's all I gotta say for now. If you got something to say Lino, I'm waiting.

Dubaine held the microphone in the air as "Click Click Boom" played again.

"Click Click Boom" comes to an abrupt halt, and Brandon looks to the stage as the arena lights strobe in a rainbow of colors. The instrumental version of "Cry Out" kicks in, and out onto the stage walks Lino, the United States Championship belt around his waist.

"Alright, so you've held this title before, so what? This is the New Age of the AWF. Nothing in the past matters anymore. We're in the big leagues now, and in the history books, when it acknowledges the first REAL United States Champion, that page will say..."

Lino raises his right hand and makes a "zero" gesture with the back of his hand pointed toward Brandon, then flicks it as though there was water on his fingertips.

"...Lino!"

Lino walks toward the ring and climbs up the stairs and steps into the ring, his gaze fixed on Brandon the entire time. "And now, moving on, you say you'll be United States Champion by the end of the year? Hrmph. We'll see about that, but even if you do get this belt...MY belt... You sure as hell won't be pinning me or making me tap out to get it." Lino smirks, looking down onto the much shorter man before him.

Brandon: Pretty confident with yourself aren't you? You know Lino? You're nothing. Nothing compared to the guys I went toe-to-toe with in the old AWF. Freaks and loonies you couldn't even imagine in your dreams. One of which is backstage right now, chugging down some laggers and making a pyramid with the bottles of the ones he's already drank. But that's old news now. They're gone. Moved on. But you know what? I'm still here. I'll always be here. That title around your waist is just a big bullseye. Watch your back. He smirked. 'Cause it's not just me who have you on there hitlist.

Brandon drops under the ropes and heads back up the ramp, "Click Click Boom" plays again.
