The opening video package winds down and the shot fades to inside of Michael Jamborgh's office, the camera facing the door. The door slides open with a creak and the face of Lucas Reinhardt comes into view. "Michael? You wanted to see me?"
"Aah, Reinhardt, yes, come in." Michael states, gesturing for Lucas to enter. Lucas steps in and closes the door behind him, slowly approaching Michael's desk. "We have a new talent beginning with us this evening, and I called you in here because, well..." Michael begins.
"Oh god, you're not firing me?!" Lucas shouts, gripping his head. "Fired as the Lightweight Champion!"
"...Lucas, pay attention." Michael states, snapping his fingers.
"Oh, sorry."
"Anyway, it was agreed upon with our new talent that for his first match on Redline, he wanted to face the youngest, most talented individual we have to offer. Now, no offense to Jimmy and Alex, they're both amazing competitors, but... Right now, I'm looking at a man who, at the age of twenty-three, is a five time World Tag Team Champion, and two-time, and current, World Lightweight Champion. Pretty impressive stuff, Luke." Lucas lets out an embarassed chuckle as Michael continues. "Anyway, this is the match card for tonight, you're in the second match." Michael states, sliding the paper across the table. Lucas lifts the sheet up and looks it over, a look of shock washing over his face.
"I...wha...seriously?! This is my opponent?! I watched this guy when I was a kid! Well, younger. But still!"
"Don't tell me you're not up to it?" Michael asks, cocking an eyebrow at Lucas.
"No, no, I'm gonna go out there and go a hundred percent, just, this is gonna be awesome!"
