The opening video package winds down to find Gregory Mandrake seated behind the desk of Michael Jamborgh, his hands folded as he grins, surrounded by the members of NEX-GEN. Mandrake smirks as he looks around and begins to speak. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another edition of... NEX-GEN Redline." Mandrake lets out a low cackle. With that, Shane Warner speaks up.
"Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, in our opening contest, Yugo Ryan will take on the returning Soldier of Fortune, Chance! After that, Lino and Catastrophe reunite as SYN to take on the Asian Persuasion."
"Wait, wait, question." Lucas Reinhardt chimes in, raising a hand to silence Shane. "...Why are we running down the card, exactly?"
"So that everyone kn--" Shane begins.
"Yeah, so everyone knows, but that's boring as hell! I hate it when Mike does it, so why are we here doing it NOW?" Lucas presses.
"Y'know, that is a good question." Chad Vritska states.
"Alright fine, just go to the arena!" Shane snaps, slamming a fist on the desk and crossing his arms as the shot fades out.
