As the opening video package winds down, the shot cuts to Michael Jamborgh, approaching his office. Michael steps in, only to find Gregory Mandrake seated at his desk, and the entirety of NEX-GEN collected within. "What the--?!" Michael begins. Mandrake raises a hand to silence the MWL founder.
"Mister Jamborgh..." Mandrake hisses, donning a sick grin. "I have taken the liberty of scheduling for us this evening, a little contest. A series of five matches, pitting the MWL loyalists against the members of NEX-GEN. I've been kind enough to adhere to your previously scheduled bout between Big Papa Norton and Riley Taylor, and your plans for a free-for-all elimination chamber bout for varying contenderships... However, the rest of this evening's matches have been locked by my hands, and the notices have been sent. I wish MWL luck, Mister Jamborgh. For, you see, the winners of this evening's contest will be granted control over match-making until Fallen Rites.
"Mister Romero, if you would?" Mandrake smirks as Diaz Romero approaches Michael. He turns the lead booker around before shoving him out the door with excessive force before slamming the door. Michael looks over his shoulder before giving a snarl and storming off down the hall.
