As the opening video package winds down, the image fades in to show Yugo Ryan, the MWL World Heavyweight Championship belt around his waist, as he limps down the hall. He pauses before a door labeled "CTHD". He reaches up and knocks on the door. After a moment, the door opens and there stands Kouryuu. Kouryuu gestures for Yugo to come in. He obliges and enters, sitting down on the team's couch, gripping his side. "Guys, I thought I should probably come here and tell you this myself, but tonight, the three of us are supposed to team up against Shane, AJ, and Viper. But, problem is..."
"Is...?" Kouryuu presses.
"It would seem my ribs are still somewhat banged up. Enough that I'm lucky if I can even compete on Sunday..." Yugo states.
"So, you're saying..." Byakko begins.
"I don't believe I will be able to compete with you, tonight."
"WHAT?! So you're leaving us in a handicap match?!" Byakko demands. Kouryuu raises a hand to settle his tag team partner.
"So what is the fate of our match, then?" Kouryuu asks.
"I intend to find a replacement for myself. I'm not about to leave you two in such a situation." Yugo shakes his head.
"Alright, we appreciate the warning, Yugo. Let us know as soon as you find a replacement." Kouryuu states. Yugo nods in response as he stands and limps out the door. Byakko leans back in his seat, looking to the ceiling.
"Who do you think he'll get?"
"I haven't the slightest idea, Byakko..."
Match 1: Chad Vritska v. David Hitz (w/ Scott Froelich)
- David Hitz pinned Chad Vritska after the Toledobomb at 15:27.
Match 2: Magnum & Chance v. Asian Persuasion
- Kentan pinned Magnum with a roll-up at 24:19.
"Yugo! Yugo!" A voice shouts from down the hall. Yugo turns to face the source of the voice, Levithan. "Yugo, I heard you were looking for a replacement in your match with NEX-GEN, tonight." Levithan states. Yugo nods in response. "Well, I'd like to offer to take your place."
"You sure? After that whole thing you had with Kouryuu way back when?" Yugo asks.
"Yeah. There are more important things right now than personal vendettas, you know!" Levithan answers.
"Eh, that IS true..." Yugo falls silent as he thinks to himself. "Alright, yeah. You can take my place." Yugo states, turning and limping away.
"Yes!" Levithan cheers, grinning, while the camera fades back out to the arena.
Match 3: Nicholas Hunter v. Jarvick Redrock (w/ Lucas Reinhardt)
- Jarvick Redrock pinned Nicholas Hunter after a lariat at 8:32.
"What? Levithan?" Byakko whines.
"Yugo, you know I'm not fond of him..." Kouryuu states.
"I know, but he was the only one willing to take my place. So, it's either team with him or go in short a man..." Yugo sighs.
"Oh, alright. Levithan, it is." Kouryuu groans, crossing his arms.
"You can't be serious! You just know we're going to lose, now!" Byakko shouts.
"Either we lose with three men, or just the two of us..." Kouryuu sighs, standing. "Now, come. We have a match to do." Kouryuu states as the two make their exit.
Match 4: CTHD & Levithan v. NEX-GEN (Shane Warner, Anthony Jacobs, & Viper)
- Anthony Jacobs pinned Levithan after the Fall at 54:23.
As the closing bell rings, Shane and Viper roll Byakko and Kouryuu into the ring. AJ strides over to them and stomps on them a few times while his teammates enter the ring. Shane pulls Kouryuu to his feet as AJ tucks into the corner. Kouryuu shakes the cobwebs loose as AJ charges forward. Kouryuu sidesteps AJ and pushes him toward the corner behind him. AJ grabs the ropes to stop himself, before looking over his shoulder and cracking a twisted grin. Kouryuu cocks an eyebrow as he takes a step back, bumping into someone.
"I haven't forgotten, Kouryuu..." The voice of Levithan states. Before Kouryuu can react, Levithan wraps an arm around his head and hits him with the Blue Wave. Levithan and the other members of NEX-GEN climb out of the ring and back up the entryway, taunting CTHD as they make their exit.
Main Event: MWL World Lightweight Championship - (C) Maverick Miller v. Alex DuVry v. Jim Norris
- Jim Norris pinned Maverick Miller with a roll-up at 12:29 to win the MWL World Lightweight Championship.
"Is...?" Kouryuu presses.
