Money in the Bank Ladder Match - Axel Jones v. Vlad v. Trip Acid v. Tank v. Daniel Saviors v. Bryan[/u]
Alright, the winner of this match will have his choice of any title shot, at any time, and in any match of their choosing. So each person in this match knows how important it is to win this match. But going through 5 other people will be a great challenge. And a lot of people proved that you need to have everyone knocked out or at least down before you try to climb, because every time someone went up, there was someone still up and either knocked him down or pulled his legs while he was dangling. And for some, the ladders were not enough, so they brought in chairs and sledgehammers to cause more harm to the others. Not to mention all the finishers that everyone used. Needless to say, everyone was limping and it was a bloody mess with everyone bleeding. It took a long time before anyone was even able to work the case down, so after the half hour mark I just kind of stopped watching and checked in every now and then. At 54 minutes, the case finally came down, and it was by the hands of Trip Acid, falling to the bloody match below with the case in his hands.
WINNER: Trip Acid
AWF Angels Championship - Vile v. Sabrina Sinister
Vile started out this match looking like she was on a mission. For the first few minutes it was all Vile just beating Sabrina up. But something must have happened, and Sabrina just started to hit more and more offense as time went on. Eventually, Sabrina hit Vile with a Reality Check and Vile was down and out for the 3 count.
WINNER and NEW Angels Champion: Sabrina Sinister
Sabrina Sinister v. Misfitt
Misfitt really wanted her title back, and it showed throughout the entire match. She was just on a roll, even managing to use the New Black, but that only got her a 2 count. Then it was a second New Black that did the job, and Misfitt becomes the first two time Angels Champion.
WINNER and NEW Angels Champion: Misfitt
Misfitt v. Harlequin
Now here was a good fight. Both girls were just hitting each other with everything that they had. Harlequin came close to winning on two occasions, one after hitting Misfitt with the Embrace, then a roll around roll up, both of which only got her 2. Misfitt fought back, but a second Embrace was enough to finish her off.
WINNER and NEW Angels Champion: Harlequin
AWF Tag Team Championship Ladder - Reaper & Cage v. The Apokalypse[/u][/b]
The familiarity of these two teams showed, as each team countered the other at pretty much every turn, with the teams splitting up to fight one of the other team, trying to weaken him as much as possible. The ladders came in handy for both teams, and the used them to knock out both members of the other team in one swing. Plenty of superplexes from the top of the ladder, so it wasn't long before everyone was limping around the ring. Both teams were able to work the belts down, but it was Jester who would bring them down for his team while Klown was busy swinging the ladder at Reaper and Cage, keeping them down.
WINNERS and NEW AWF Tag Team Champions: The Apokalypse
The Apokalypse v. Oriental Express
Well, here is another team that The Apokalypse are familiar with, and more recently too. And as usual, these two put on a tremendous showing, going back and forth thought the entire match and making you question who will really win this. With all the reversals, counters, and interference from the ringside partner, it's no wonder that these teams know each other well and the winner is very much in question. Klown was close to winning, coming off of a Hot Tag from Jester and finishing the sequence with the Power of the Punch, but Machine kicked out just in time. Then Blade stepped up, and finished the match by delivering the Jackhammer to Jester, while Machine ran over to take down Klown.
WINNERS and NEW AWF Tag Team Champions: The Oriental Express
The Oriental Express v. Warren Peace & Dante Malicious
The team of Warren and Dante actually were doing pretty good against the new champs. Even was able to hit both the Peacemaker and Dante's Inferno. But the overwhelming teamwork by the Express, not to mention the experience they have with each other, was just a lot of them to counter. But after Machine gave Warren a Machine Works and Dante a Jackhammer, it was becoming much harder for them to combat with the injuries they had taken. It was Blade who once again would finish the match, pinning Dante after giving him his second Jackhammer in the match.
WINNERS and STILL AWF Tag Team Champions: The Oriental Express
AWF Hardcore Championship Mayhem Arsenal - Xplizit v. Lino Coldheart
Match started out with neither even going for any weapons, and Lino was certainly doing better with that, even managing to hit Xplizit with the 99 Crusher, but Xplizit kicked out at 2. It was at that point that Lino went to get his weapons, a trashcan, then a kendo stick which he used up and hit another 99 Crusher at ringside. Then Lino went to use a sledgehammer, but Xplizit knocked it out of his hands. Then it was Xplizit's turn to grab a weapon, which was the barbed wire 2x4, which Lino took and lit on fire. But Xplizit took it back and just smacked Lino with the fire lit object and used it up. Then Lino grabbed a table while Xplizit took a fan's replica of a title belt, which the table won in the encounter. Then a Ladder and a fan's crutch came into the ring, but not used. Lino whipped Xplizit into the ropes and caught him on the way back with a huge powerslam and pinned for the 3 count.
WINNER and NEW Hardcore Champion: Lino Coldheart
Ladder - Lino Coldheart v. Carnivore
Good thing a ladder was brought into the ring in the last match, so they just set that up at ringside. Didn't stay there for long, as Carnivore was pretty quick in getting the ladder into the ring. By that point they played a game of King of the Ladder, which Lino seems to dominate in, knocking and suplexing Carnivore off the ladder several times and in between each got the belt down some more. Carnivore managed to knock him off one time and got some more of the belt down, but Lino kicked him and the ladder down. After hitting each other with the ladder, and both climbing said ladder, Carnivore suplexed Lino off the ladder, climbed it, and got the last bit of the belt down.
WINNER and NEW Hardcore Champion: Carnivore
First Blood - Carnivore v. Loki Jr.
Both of these guys just went in there and fought. Nothing fancy or flashy, just downright hard knock fighting. Both guys were for the most part going straight for the head, with the exception of going for the body every so often. After hitting the Vile Driver in the first few minutes, Carnivore was just running rampant. He kept locking in the Tazzmission, using the Toss right after, and another Vile Driver later on. Then Carnivore ran and got him with a running DDT, and that was what made Loki bleed.
WINNER and STILL Hardcore Champion: Carnivore
AWF United States Championship - Hell in a Cell - Minion v. Reaper Killer
For our first Hell in a Cell for tonight, we have the heated rivalry or RK and Minion step inside the structure. RK wasted no time at all getting his hands on Minion, even managing to give Minion the Prelude within the first few minutes. After taking the Prelude, Minion must of had something in his mind click as he started to get in some offense of his own. But it was too late, and RK locked on the Triangle Stretch, and although Minion did not tap it was enough to keep him down for the 3 count.
WINNER and NEW United States Champion: Reaper Killer
Reaper Killer v. Brandon Mac
Just like in his last match, RK didn't waste time as soon as that bell rang, and started to lay into Mac. But Mac wasn't going to take it, and started to get his own offense in, even managing to nail some Sweet Chin Music, but RK kicked out at 2 just in time. After that, it was just all Mac, even hitting the Last Ride, but RK low blowed him before he could pin. It went just back and forth from here, as neither was getting an advantage, until Mac hit a second Last Ride, and it was all over.
WINNER and NEW United States Champion: Brandon Mac
Brandon Mac v. Anthony Jacobs
These two just couldn't stay in the ring, as they constantly kept going out of the ring and taking their fight there. So this fight was pretty much all over the place. But the fight itself was pretty even, with them going back and forth with their offense all the while going in and out of the ring. Mac came VERY close to gaining the win, after hitting a superplex that knocked AJ out and followed up with the Last Ride, only for AJ to poke him in the eye at the last minute. AJ went for a back suplex, which Mac countered and gave AJ a backbreaker. Cover for a close 2 count. AJ gets up, and Mac HHH Low Kicks him and covers and gets the 3 count.
WINNER and STILL United States Champion: Brandon Mac
As Osiris is waiting in the ring, still not knowing who his opponent will be, Cory Mott comes out and stands on the stage, mic in hand.
"Well Osiris, just to make sure you understand, the reason you were not informed of your opponents was because I felt that tonight was a special night, why not have some special people attend the event? I extended some invitations, and they were accepted. So the first guest of tonight, is MWL's own "Slim" Jim Norris!"
Naoki Maeda's "Hysteria 2001" played as Jim Norris came out onto the ramp, absorbing the cheers of his fans. He runs down to the ring and the match was on.
AWF World Championship - Osiris v. Jim Norris[/u]
These guys went right after each other, with Jim delivering many kicks to Osiris while Osiris at the same time did his variations of punches and kicks. Jim was actually doing pretty well against Osiris but after taking a Eternal Damnation, he was out. But his foot was on the ropes, so Osiris just smashed his knees into Jim's head a few times, dragged him to the middle of the ring and pinned for the 3.
WINNER and STILL AWF World Champion: Osiris
As Osiris celebrated his victory, he was interrupted by Cory Mott.
"Night isn't over quiet yet Osiris. You still got one more person to face tonight. The next person who will be making a special appearance is a former AWF World Champion in his own right. He is an AWF original, he is the AWF Hardcore Legend, Freaky!"
Rob Zombie's "Never Gonna Stop" as Freaky came out, to a huge reaction of his own. Freaky didn't waste any time, as he made his way down to the ring to face off with Osiris.
Osiris v. Freaky
Osiris's old feelings for Freaky came back all at once, as soon as that bell rang he tried to take Freaky's head off with a big clothesline. But Freaky was ready for this fight, as they just brawled. They just beat the crap out of each other, giving their all. Osiris managed to get Freaky in the Triangle Stretch, and Freaky did not tap, and when Osiris pinned he kicked out at 2. Freaky gets up only to have Osiris run at him and nail a running DDT, which is enough to keep Freaky down for the 3.
WINNER and STILL AWF World Champion: Osiris
MWL World Heavyweight Championship: Hell in a Cell - Guest Referee: Cory Mott - Yugo Ryan v. William James[/u][/b]
Yugo was right on the attack, stomping away at WJ and just looking for any way he could do some damage, including eye rakes and low blows. But WJ was ready to play Yugo's game, poking him in the eye giving some low blows of his own, and finding his own way to inflict some damage. Ultimately, it was Yugo who would walk out the victor, after hitting WJ with the Osaka Street Cutter and pinning while Mott made the 3 count.
WINNER and STILL MWL World Heavyweight Champion: Yugo Ryan
As the closing bell rings, Cory Mott hands the MWL World Heavyweight Championship back to Yugo. The insturmental version of "Cry Out" hits the sound system, and Lino appears on the stage, heading toward the ring. While the Hell in a Cell structure raises toward the ceiling, Yugo looks toward Cory and cracks a grin as Lino slides into the ring. Lino grasps Cory by the arms and wrenches, pulling him into a half-nelson. Cory struggles to break free, only for Lino to apply more pressure as Yugo grins and catches a microphone from ringside. "Aah, Cory, I'm so glad you joined us here, hmmhmm..." Yugo begins. He gets to within an inch of Cory's face, his grin growing ever wider. "You see, I've recently come to view you as something of a nuissance, poking your nose in where it doesn't belong...
"Well, I hoped you enjoyed your little tenure as assistant lead booker, because earlier tonight, I happened to get a memo from our magnificent boss, Frank Dubaine." Yugo states, waving an unopened envelope in Cory's face. "And it just so happens, that good ol' Frank has decided to go on formal vacation for a brief time. Now, of course, that would normally leave you as our lead booker, but Frank had the foresight to hand-select a replacement for him in his absence." Yugo falls silent and turns away, tucking his arms behind his back as he takes a few steps toward the entryway. He looks over his shoulder to the snarling Cory Mott before turning and approaching him, raising the envelope.
"...And of course, it doesn't take a genius such as myself to realize before even opening this letter that that NEW lead booker is none other than m--!" Yugo begins, being interrupted by the sound system coming to life. A look of something between dread and annoyance crosses his face as the opening moments of Kelly Bailey's "Vortal Combat" plays. Much of the arena falls silent, not recognizing the song, save for a small patch off in the back somewhere. "Oh, please..."
"...Me, Yugo. I am AWF's NEW lead booker." A large chunk of the fans now let out their roar, recognizing the voice. Still, some do not yet recognize the source, and it is then that the video wall displays the figure standing upon the stage, microphone in hand. Clad in baggy black pants, a red splitter camouflage tank-top, and a black jacket (with a set of dogtags, to boot), at last every last fan in the arena who had seen this man and was familiar with him in the least was on their feet. "Well, my first night here, and already I'm getting a standing ovation..." The man grins. He reaches up and traces his thumbnail along the scar beneath his left eye, digging at some itch that had been bothering him. "Now then, just so every last one of us here and watching around the world at home is on the same page, some of you know me, others do not, but for the curious, you can call me 'Six-Star' Riley Taylor. However, for the time being, 'Riley' will suffice. Now then, everyone, there are going to be some big changes in AWF from here on out. What they are going to be, you'll have to find out in time, but as for YOU, Yugo...
"I've been witnessing your antics around here for some time, now. And I must say, I've had enough. From manipulating the members of SiN into removing John Crescent to pave the way for Frank to move in, to your recent little declaration of war with Xplizit and Jackel... There will be no more, Yugo, because effective immediately..." Riley begins, pointing to Yugo. "Your contract is hereby terminated and you are removed from the AWF roster!"
The crowd hits a fever pitch as Yugo stares on, collapsing to his knees between Riley and the still restrained Cory.
"And so, with you gone, the X shall cease to be, and so will your alliance with SiN." Riley states. "Now then, Yugo, you are to exit this arena this instant."
"MAKE ME!" Yugo shouts in defiance.
"I was hoping you would give me that response. You see, Yugo, I'm not the only one who has recently come to AWF..." A grin crosses Riley's face as he snaps the fingers on his left hand. Three figures then emerge from the stage behind him, one hardly over six feet tall, one roughly the size of Riley himself, and the last a hulking tower of a man, yet strangely wearing a worn cowboy hat. "Yugo, I believe you are already familiar with these men?" Riley asks. Yugo pushes himself to his feet, eyes quivering as he begins backing away, bumping into Lino and Cory. "For those of you yet unaware, allow me to introduce my new heads of security, Justin McIntyre..." The small man forms a pistol with his fingers and points toward the camera, mouthing the word "bang". "...Rod Friedman..." The man of Riley's size flexes one arm as the camera passes over him. "...And last, but CERTAINLY not the least..." The camera pauses on the beast of a man, who tilts his hat downward, a grin coming over his face. "Pat 'Big Papa' Norton, father of the very Norton Brothers who competed for this promotion many months ago. These are the Silver Age Kings, and they shall be addressed with respect. Now then, Kings?" Riley points toward the ring as the three men begin advancing on Yugo. For the first time, a visible look of fear on his face, Yugo dives through the ropes and backs toward the guardrail. The Silver Age Kings bolt after him just as he clears the guardrail and disappears into the crowd. The men stop at ringside as Yugo vanishes amid the fans, still carrying the microphone he held during his speech. The Kings then enter the ring as Lino at last releases Cory Mott, as Riley approaches.
"Lino, you still have a job around here, so you'd best get out of my sight before I change my mind and fire your ass, too." Riley states as Lino makes his way up the entrance ramp, disappearing behind the curtains. Riley then approaches Cory, who is rubbing his arms in response to being held by Lino for such a long period of time. "And as for you, Mr. Mott, I'm afraid I will not be requiring your services as an assistant. You may remain as a manager, but I will be able to manage my position as lead booker with my own resources." Riley states, beginning to make his exit as "Vortal Combat" hits the sound system once more, and the show fades out to a shot of Riley and the Kings standing on the stage, posing for the crowd, who are all on their feet...
