You ever had a bad spill where you banged your knee but after about an hour or so you were able to just get back up and walk on with your day?

Well I was hoping I had one of those spills at work the other day. Actually I didn't even hit my knee on anything. The only thing I knew was my knee popped as I went down. I didn't think to much about it. Just thought "Oh yeah, I popped it, no big deal, just like popping your knuckles. In about an hour or so I'll be able to just get back to work no harm no foul."

Well two hours roll by and I'm still not able to walk or put my full weight on the knee. So at 9 o'clock at night I'm taxied down to the Sylva ER by my buddy and another hour in the ER reveals that that popped sound I heard was actually one of the ligaments in my knee tearing. Unfortunately because of the large size of my knee combined with the swelling, they can't tell how bad the tear is or which ligament I even tore.

So what's this mean? It means I'm on crutches for at least a week with a pain in the ass velcro brace. Oh yeah. The next week is gonna be FUN!!

This equals 8 out of 10 stars on the sucky factor.

Well I did something like that in football. My knee was fine after being on cruches and if your knee pops out of place a few times don't pop it back in place by yourself. U could damage the cratalage. Then that ain't good

you said at work....sucks that it happened, but no place better than work...their insurance covers it! if that happened at my work ..i still receive full pay,at home half pay. covered under workman's compensation and our insurance plan. check into it!

I'm on workman's comp but sadly I don't have benefits or insurance since I'm working at Subway hahah
