Mikey Malicious v. Catastrophe
To start, both men exit the ring and brawl at ringside. Nothing is accomplished, though, beyond a few strikes, which could easily have been done in the ring. They both return, and Mikey tries a suplex that Catastrophe reverses. Upset at Mikey's attempt, Catastrophe decides to try and strangle Mikey. After some exchanges, Catastrophe decides it's time to make the ref into a battering ram.
After a few more exchanges, Catastrophe decides to use the ref again. Having learned a lesson from last time, Mikey slips out of the ring to avoid getting hit. They brawl at ringside, return to the ring, and Catastrophe throws the ref yet again. Some more back and forth, and Catastrophe throws the ref YET AGAIN. After a while of back and forth, Mikey hits Catastrophe with the Final Rest!
But Catastrophe isn't finished yet! Catastrophe kicks out at 2 and starts to mount a comeback, which is abruptly halted, mainly because Mikey just hits too damned hard. From nowhere, Catastrophe tries a roll-up that only gets a 2-count. The match spills outside once again as they both brawl around ringside. Catastrophe starts to mount another comeback, and after a few shots, and stripping a turnbuckle, Mikey walks right into the Tilt-A-Whirl Knockout! Catastrophe drags Mikey out to the middle and tries a pin. It's 1! It's 2! And that's all it gets to before Mikey kicks out. Naturally, Catastrophe bitches at the ref. After a few shots from Catastrophe, Mikey drills him with a shot to the spine, then drags him out to the middle for a pin attempt. And that's all she wrote.
Winner, by a shot to the spine: Mikey Malicious!
Lunatic Fringe v. Yugo Ryan and Freaky (w/ Melissa Rez)
Immediately, the teamwork of Yugo and Freaky shines, as Yugo whips Scott to the corner for a double facecrusher, or whatever it's called. Yugo decides to try and attack Scott while he's down, by doing an elbow drop from the top. Not only did Scott get out of the way, but Yugo hit the ref on the way down! Then Scott, in a VERY stupid move, decides to attack Melissa by diving out of the ring. But, for whatever reason, Melissa decides to go after Evan.
And a little amusing bit, here, but after Scott returned to the ring, the referree was standing in Yugo and Freaky's corner, acting like he was arguing Yugo, and Yugo promptly punched the ref. Now then, back to the match...
Freaky tags out to Yugo using the german suplex to rebound cutter type-thing, whatever it is (Stungun & Neckbreaker, maybe?). Yugo places his foot ABOVE Scott's chest (not ON, ABOVE), and gets a two count. Apparently Scott watched Catastrophe v. Mikey pretty closely, as after an exchange, Scott hurls the ref at Yugo. And after another exchange, Scott does it again. Then proceeds to dance next to unconscious ref. Then Yugo decides to tag out. Freaky immediately makes his presence known by punching Evan off of the apron. Scott responds in kind by knocking Yugo off of the apron.
Yugo then responds by throwing the ref at Scott while Freaky clothesline Evan. Over, and over, and over again. Then Yugo chokes Scott. Finally, Evan gets tagged in with a moonsault combination with Scott. After an exchange, Freaky tags in Yugo. Evan and Yugo trade shots, then Yugo tags back out. Following an exchange, Freaky lays out Scott with a combo, then tags back out to Yugo. Yugo and Freaky both pose as Scott gets counted out. Neither Yugo nor Freaky had ANY limb damage through this match. Could we be looking at some future Tag Team Champions...?
Winners, by countout: Freaky & Yugo Ryan!
Karma v. Warren Peace
Right from the get-go, the beginning exchange spills to the outside. After a few moments, Warren flips Karma the bird. Apparently, that didn't sit well, as she comes in to smack Warren, but as one might expect, gets countered. Karma heads outside, and Warren poses. And then it's back and forth, counters out the wazoo... I'll let you know when something interesting happens.
They move to ringside and fight there for a while. Suffice it to say: counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter, counter.
Then, Warren hits a leg drop and pins. Three count. Karma countered a lot, but Warren just dominated.
Winner, by leg drop: Warren Peace!
Chaser v. Mark Rejda v. Brandon Dubaine
Brandon goes straight after Mark, first punching his gut, then his face, all while Chaser hangs back. Shortly thereafter, all three men are beating the hell out of each other. Rejda whips Brandon out to ringside, then goes after Chaser. Chaser slams Brandon down, then starts taunting Rejda. Brandon combos Chaser's ass as Rejda steps out. Then Brandon taunts. Everybody heads out to ringside, and starts doing laps around the ring. Brandon stops Chaser, though, with, you guessed it, a combo.
Brandon lays out Chaser before making a move toward Rejda, who lays out the lightweight with a shoulderblock. A rather nonchalant one, at that. Anyway, all three of them brawl around ringside some more (god forbid they'd do it in the ring). Chaser's limping, and Brandon misses a moonsault out of the ring. And Rejda decides that it's time to RAMPAGE! GRAAAR! Vertical suplex, hip toss, and back suplex, these moves alternating between Brandon and Chaser as their targets.
Rejda puts Chaser on the apron for some slap-happy action, as Brandon gets up. and attacks Rejda. Chaser eats an enziguiri from Brandon, and is apparently unconscious for a moment. Yet, he still decides to taunt when he gets up. And they all fight at ringside some more. Brandon bounces Chaser's skull off of the ringsteps for a while as Rejda climbs into the ring, and right back out. Then the lightweights move to one of the corners inside the ring and trade knife-edge chop counters. After a while, Brandon hits a HIGH dropkick, and as he's getting up, Rejda stomps on him. HARD. Then whips Brandon gets up and whips Rejda to the corner where he hits a backflip into a superkick. Then makes a huge production of lightly kicking Rejda's leg.
After a while, Chaser gets Rejda on the apron for some smacking and grinding. He rolls Rejda in, then turns around into...you guessed it...another combo from Brandon. Brandon starts to tear it up, and hits the Streetsweeper! Then drags Rejda out to the middle for the pin. It's 1! It's 2! IT'S--! No, wait, only two. Fast forward a while, and Chaser tries for a submission on Brandon, who manages to power out, despite likely being near death, by now.
After a little while, and a countered drop on the barricade, Brandon hits a spinning wheel kick on Chaser, drawing blood! And Rejda hits a running DDT on Brandon, which ALSO draws blood! Rejda kicks Brandon in the gut, and it's time for the Lone Wolf! But Chaser's right there to break it up. Chaser goes for a dropkick on Brandon, just as Rejda goes for the very same dropkick on Chaser. And, of course, Chaser gets laid out. Brandon hits a DDT, then follows it up immediately with the Cruise Control! It's 1! It's 2! GOD DAMN IT! SOMEBODY FINISH THIS MATCH ALREADY!
Brandon, apparently thinking nothing of it, drags Rejda out to the middle of the ring, not even hitting Rejda, and tries ANOTHER pin. And STILL ONLY TWO! Pissed off, apparently, Rejda throws one punch that hits Chaser and lays out Brandon. Chaser hits a swinging neckbreaker following a hectic exchange, and hits the Prey! And WE'VE GOT ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner, by the Prey: Chaser!
HT5: Norton Brothers v. Souls of Sain v. Zombie Nation (Jaysun Legend & LowKo)
Two words: screw detail.
In the midst of this mess of people trying to kill each other, Red smashed Devin Sain with some type of clothesline, and followed it up with a three count while everybody else fought on the other side of the ringside area.
By the by, Zombie Nation seems to have a few problems, at the moment... In the middle of the match, LowKo broke a sledgehammer by smashing it down right on top of Jaysun Legend's skull. Jaysun was standing at the time, and I'm amazed he could after the fact.
Winners, by clothesline: the Norton Brothers!
The instrumental version of "Cry Out" blares as Lino appears on the stage and makes his way down to the ring, steel chair in hand. "You know, CK, watching that last match got me in the mood to tear you limb from limb while I reclaim MY United States Championship! So drag your ass down here! Tonight, we fight until one of us BLEEDS!"
Best of Seven, Round 5: Lino v. CK Malicious - First Blood
Lino decides to get the game started with a russian leg sweep. Then a boston crab. CK decides to try and powerbomb the bigass Alaskan, but that didn't work out too well. Lino tries a mounted punch, but gets countered on the first shot. So Lino decides to use the closest weapon he can get: the referee. Some back and forth, and CK decides to show Lino how mounted punches are done. Some back and forth, and CK decides to try and powerbomb Lino again.
Some back and forth, and Lino uses the ref again, and follows it up with a boston crab. They decide to counter back and forth, before Lino interrupts it with a punch to the face, followed by a running DDT. And Lino slaps on another boston crab ('cause that'll REALLY help you in a first blood match...). More counters, and another ref projectile. Some back and forth, and it's time for Lino to try some mounted punches again! Lino hits a neckbreaker on the outside, followed by another submission hold. They both reenter the ring, and Lino lays CK out before throwing the ref at him (the poor ref...). As CK stands, the ref hits him, and Lino unleashes his WRECK SHOP! The sly bastard. Lino Fists of Fury's it up before dragging CK to his feet and continuing to beat his head in.
After a little back and forth, Lino hits another running DDT, then slaps on a submission hold. Then, Lino strips the nearby turnbuckle. Then throws the ref AGAIN! Lino starts the mounted punching, but CK reverses it a few shots in. Lino responds by wrenching the bejeezus out of CK's arm. Lino lets loose the fists of fury again, then decides to strip another turnbuckle. Lino stops whatever CK's thinking with a headlock takeover, then lets loose his WRECK SHOP! He mounts CK, and punches him 'til he BLEEDS!
Winner, by mounted punching: Lino!
As "Cry Out" plays through the arena, Lino lifts CK's head after grabbing a microphone. "You have until Monday to return MY United States Championship!" Lino growls before slamming CK's face back down to the mat and making his exit.
AWF World Championship: 2 Out of 3 - Ladder: (C) Osiris v. JC Malicious
For sake of time, I'll just list the victory points rather than calling the whole thing. Okay? Okay.
Round 1 - JC removed one title belt from above the ring. JC knocked off Osiris once, was knocked off by Osiris, then Osiris was knocked off the ladder a second time, and narrowly prevented JC from removing the first piece.
Round 2 - Osiris removed one title belt from above the ring.
Round 3 - Osiris removed the last title belt from above the ring, after getting up WAY too fast after a superplex to the outside.
Winner, and STILL AWF World Champion: Osiris!
