Chaser v. Catastrophe (Click for video)
Poor Chaser just can't seem to catch a break... Catastrophe made short work of the former Hardcore Champion, pinning him in just four minutes after a low blow.
Winner, by low blow: Catastrophe!
Zombie Nation (Jaysun Legend & LowKo, w/ Karma) v. Souls of Sain (Click for video)
Jaysun Legend was the one that scored the fall, here. Grim got caught in a DDT by Legend, who followed it up with a shining wizard, then made the cover. Devin tried to make the save, stomping twice n quick succession, but... Suffice it to say, he needs to work on his aim.
Winners, by shining wizard: Zombie Nation!
The camera fades in to a hallway in the arena backstage, where Yugo Ryan is pacing back and forth, holding a cell phone to his ear, while Melissa Rez watches silently.
"I'm afraid that every attempt so far has been a waste. ... Lino and the Nortons. ... Well, Lino just said he was content on his own, and the Nortons want some monetary compensation for their efforts. They refuse to do anything, otherwise." Yugo pauses, listening to the voice on the other end, becoming a bit angry after a moment. Now listen here! I am the BEST goddamn asset you've got right now! I AM THE ONLY ASSET YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW! I am a main event caliber performer, and you'd do well not to convince me to leave you high and dry!" Yugo spits, falling silent for a moment. "So, we've got an agreement, then? Heh, excellent choice. You've still got your spearhead... Yugo grins, hanging up the phone.
"What'd he have to say?" Melissa asks.
A grin creeps over Yugo's face. "Money is NO object. Now then, let's go."
Brandon Dubaine v. Yugo Ryan (w/ Melissa Rez) (Click for video)
Brandon put up one hell of a fight against Yugo, but alas, it just wasn't enough, this time around. Dubaine most definitely gave Yugo a run for his money, though, taking two Superiority Complexes AND a low blow before staying down for the three.
Winner, by low blow: Yugo Ryan!
Shooter Jennings' "Electric Rodeo" hits the speakers, as the crowd in the arena boos the incoming duo. Spike and Red both pose on the stage, before Spike becomes slightly flustered, promptly raising his middle finger to the nearest fan. Red slowly walks toward the ring, grabbing Spike as he passes, who still is gesturing toward the fan. The camera before the Nortons back up gradually, before Spike, after regaining himself, moves forward and shoves the camera aside. Spike and Red step onto the apron before posing for the still booing crowd once again. Red slowly looks around, while Spike hawks a loogie into the crowd and they both enter the ring. Spike reaches out and snatches a microphone from ringside, cursing at the stagehand before speaking.
"Awright folks, we's outchere tonight ta prove that we's STILL da number-one contenders ta the AWF World Tag Team Champyunship. Now, see, we wasn't aware that our match wit da champs at Collision was gonna be fer da titles, so we was slackin' off! But tonight, we's READY! So anybody back dere whut wants ta face us, getcher scrawny asses out here, right now!" Spike shouts, as Red yanks the microphone out of Spike's hand and tosses it to ringside. Spike turns to his brother and the two have an inaudible argument when "Dream and Reality" kicks in...
Tornado Tag - Norton Brothers v. Lunatic Fringe (Click for video)
All hell broke loose, here! In just over four minutes, Red pins Evan after a second rope fallaway slam, just before Scott rolls up Spike. Close call.
Winners, by second rope fallaway slam: the Norton Brothers!
As the instrumental version of "Cry Out" kicks in, Lino makes his way down to the ring, not taking the time to pose at all for the crowd. He slides into the ring and says something to the referee, who hands him a microphone. "CK, tonight, we'll be going through a match the likes of which you've never seen before. Tonight, CK versus Lino in...Wild X!" Lino drops the microphone at ringside as CK's music begins...
Best of 7, Round 2: Lino v. CK Malicious - Wild X/30-Minute (Click for video)
The first half goes by, with no scores. Apparently, these two haven't read the match type lecture. That, or they forgot that only submissions count for the first half. Finally, pinfalls, countouts, and DQ's kick in, and business picks up! CK picks up the first score all match at 25:05 with Lino's own Fisherman Spike! Lino keeps fighting, though, and picks up a score at 27:16 with a shoulder block. And time runs out, so it's on to sudden death!
Sudden death went pretty evenly, but CK pulled out his favorite trick: showing up his opponent! He busts out Lino's Fisherman Spike for the second time, and covers for the three!
Winner, 2-1, by Fisherman Spike: CK Malicious!
AWF World Championship - Execution Chamber: JC Malicious v. Mikey Malicious v. Freaky v. Osiris v. Mark Rejda v. Warren Peace (Click for video)
JC and Mikey Malicious got to kick the party off! Then Mark Rejda joined, followed by Freaky, then Warren Peace, and Osiris coming in last. Mark removed Mikey from the match. Then Osiris removed Rejda and Freaky, respectively, leaving Warren, JC, and Osiris. And Osiris pins Warren, then JC after a quick three-hit combination.
Winner, and FIRST AWF World Champion: Osiris!
